Day 14: Splitting the Camper Three Ways
In a rented garage in Szczecin, Weronika (A), Kacper (B) and Paulina (C), friends who bought an old camper van together three years ago, talk over an offer for it.
How to study this lesson 3 steps
- Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.
- Read the dialogue line by line with its translation, until every line makes sense. Point at (or tap) a Polish word to see what it means.
- Spend at least 30 minutes listening to native Polish, for example from the Resources page. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it yet.

I've got a buyer for the camper: thirty-six thousand, no viewing and no haggling. We split it three ways and each of us gets twelve.

Equal shares? I spent two winters rebuilding the engine while you two posted sunsets on Instagram, so half of it's mine.

That engine of yours died outside Split, and Weronika and I pushed the camper a kilometre and a half uphill.
