Day 105: A Boarding Pass on Instagram

In the flat they share in Chorzów, Eryk (A) looks up from his phone at his friend Julian (B), who is flying to Naples the next morning.

How to study this lesson 3 steps
  1. Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.
  2. Read the dialogue line by line with its translation, until every line makes sense. Point at (or tap) a Polish word to see what it means.
  3. Spend at least 30 minutes listening to native Polish, for example from the Resources page. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it yet.

    Ja miałem. Zanim dopiłeś kawę, przesadziłem cię na miejsce przy toalecie.

    I did. Before you'd finished your coffee, I'd moved you to a seat by the toilet.

    Dobra, już usuwam. Tylko oddawaj mi miejsce przy oknie, zanim ktoś je zajmie!

    Fine, I'm deleting it. Just give me my window seat back before someone takes it!
