Day 215: The Parcel Locker Further Away
At a parcel locker outside a shop in Lubartów, Ms Michalak (A), a young woman, runs into her family doctor, Dr Sokołowski (B), who told her last month to walk more.
How to study this lesson 3 steps
- Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.
- Read the dialogue line by line with its translation, until every line makes sense. Point at (or tap) a Polish word to see what it means.
- Spend at least 30 minutes listening to native Polish, for example from the Resources page. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it yet.
Dialogue
Audio recordings are on the way. For now, each lesson is the dialogue with its English translation.

Dzień dobry, panie doktorze! Pan też po paczkę?
Good morning, doctor! Are you here for a parcel too?

B
Tak, mieszkam obok. A pani przyszła aż tutaj pieszo?
Yes, I live next door. And you walked all the way here?
-
A
Tak! Wybrałam dalszy paczkomat, żeby więcej chodzić.
Yes! I chose a parcel locker further away so I'd walk more.
-
B
Brawo! Czuje siÄ™ pani lepiej?
Well done! Are you feeling better?
-
A
Dużo lepiej. Tylko teraz częściej zamawiam paczki!
Much better. It's just that I order parcels more often now!
