Day 111: Meetings About Meetings
At home in Strzelin, nine-year-old Aurora (A), who has to tell her class tomorrow what her mother does for a living, questions her mother Dalia (B), a project manager who works from home for a large insurance company.
How to study this lesson 3 steps
- Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.
- Read the dialogue line by line with its translation, until every line makes sense. Point at (or tap) a Polish word to see what it means.
- Spend at least 30 minutes listening to native Polish, for example from the Resources page. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it yet.

Because at our company nothing happens without a meeting. In the morning I have a briefing where we decide what we'll talk about at the afternoon meeting.

W korporacji nie wypada decydowa膰 samodzielnie. Trzeba zaprosi膰 wszystkich, od kt贸rych cokolwiek zale偶y, 偶eby nikt nie poczu艂 si臋 pomini臋ty.
In a corporation it's not done to decide things on your own. You have to invite everyone who has any say in anything, so that nobody feels left out.
