Day 90: Every Side Effect in the Book
At a pharmacy in Kwidzyn, Mrs Leokadia (A), a pensioner, puts a packet of blood pressure pills and its leaflet down on the counter in front of the young pharmacist, Tobiasz (B).
How to study this lesson 3 steps
- Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.
- Read the dialogue line by line with its translation, until every line makes sense. Point at (or tap) a Polish word to see what it means.
- Spend at least 30 minutes listening to native Polish, for example from the Resources page. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it yet.

Not a single one. My granddaughter told me to read the leaflet carefully before the first one, so I read it three times.

In that case it was the leaflet that did you harm, not the tablets. Please take them as the doctor told you, and leave the leaflet to your granddaughter.
