   Do you know these two? They sell a course called 'Financial Freedom in Ninety Days' for three thousand złoty, and supposedly they both live off their investments in Dubai.

   A birch? Since when do birches grow in Dubai? Hang on, I know that place: it's the Błędów Desert, Daniel and I went there over the May long weekend.

   Też tak sądzę, ale brzoza to tylko poszlaka. Muszę udowodnić, gdzie i kiedy zrobiono to zdjęcie, a oni wrzucili je drugiego maja z podpisem „Dubaj, dziś rano”.

   That's what I think too, but a birch is only circumstantial evidence. I have to prove where and when the photo was taken, and they posted it on the second of May with the caption 'Dubai, this morning'.

   Drugiego maja? Przecież byliśmy tam właśnie wtedy! Zaraz, na moich zdjęciach w tle jakaś dziewczyna w złotej sukience pozuje przy lampie pierścieniowej.

   The second of May? But that's exactly when we were there! Wait a sec, in the background of my photos there's some girl in a gold dress posing by a ring light.

   Pokaż! Masz oryginały w telefonie? Instagram usuwa metadane, ale telefon zapisuje współrzędne i godzinę co do sekundy.

   Show me! Have you got the originals on your phone? Instagram strips out the metadata, but your phone records the coordinates and the time to the second.

   Mam, wszystkie trzysta. Tylko że sama wrzuciłam jedno z podpisem „Sahara”, więc głupio mi kogokolwiek oceniać.

   I have, all three hundred of them. Only I posted one myself with the caption 'Sahara', so I feel a bit silly judging anyone.

   You're not selling a course on how to get rich in the desert. I need those files, and ideally you as a witness as well.

    A witness? Apart from you, nobody knows the two of us were there together. Mum thinks I spent the May long weekend on an Excel course.

    Sounds serious. Then I'd better delete my 'Sahara' right away, before somebody spots a birch in it.
