Day 45: The Tooth Fairy Pay Gap
Over Saturday breakfast in their flat in Koszalin, Pola (B), ten, who writes for her class newsletter, interviews her father Piotr (A), a company spokesman.
How to study this lesson 3 steps
- Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.
- Read the dialogue line by line with its translation, until every line makes sense. Point at (or tap) a Polish word to see what it means.

A classic journalistic sting. But there's a simpler explanation: the fairy changes her currency with me, because the bureaux de change are closed at night.
