   A trial of the wolf from Little Red Riding Hood? Tosia, speaking as a prosecutor, I'm telling you: the evidence is damning, and there are three witnesses.

   Nie strasz dziecka. Wilk połknął babcię w całości, a po rozcięciu brzucha wyszła cała i zdrowa. Żadne zabójstwo.

   Don't frighten the child. The wolf swallowed Grandma whole, and once its belly was cut open she came out safe and sound. That's no murder.

   Ale tato, on ją zjadł! I przebrał się w jej koszulę nocną i czepek, fuj!

   But Dad, he ate her! And he dressed up in her nightie and her cap, yuck!

   Po wtargnięciu do domu pokrzywdzonej oskarżony pozbawił ją wolności, po czym podszył się pod nią w celu wprowadzenia w błąd wnuczki.

   Having forced his way into the victim's home, the defendant deprived her of her liberty, and then impersonated her for the purpose of deceiving her granddaughter.

   Pozbawienie wolności trwało góra godzinę, a nie ponad siedem dni, więc to typ podstawowy. Prawdziwy przestępca to myśliwy.

   The deprivation of liberty lasted an hour at most, not over seven days, so it's the basic offence. The real criminal is the hunter.

   The hunter? But he saved Grandma and Little Red Riding Hood! Mum, Dad's joking, isn't he?

   Zabił wilka, a wilki są w Polsce pod ścisłą ochroną. I napchał mu brzuch kamieniami, bez żadnego wyroku.

   He killed the wolf, and in Poland wolves are strictly protected. And he stuffed its belly with stones, without any court ruling.

   Działał w celu uchylenia bezpośredniego niebezpieczeństwa grożącego życiu dwóch osób. Podręcznikowy stan wyższej konieczności, kochanie.

   He acted to avert an immediate danger to the lives of two people. A textbook case of necessity, darling.

   Tylko że wilk spał, więc niebezpieczeństwa dało się uniknąć inaczej. Wystarczyło zamknąć sypialnię i wezwać leśniczego.

   Only the wolf was asleep, so the danger could have been avoided another way. All he had to do was lock the bedroom and call the forester.
