Day 68: Signed Off by the Pharmacist

At a pharmacy in Bochnia, Mrs Wanda (A), a retired teacher, hands the young pharmacist, Damian (B), a list her daughter has sent her.

How to study this lesson 3 steps
  1. Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.
  2. Read the dialogue line by line with its translation, until every line makes sense. Point at (or tap) a Polish word to see what it means.
  3. Spend at least 30 minutes listening to native Polish, for example from the Resources page. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it yet.

    Magnesium, iron and vitamin D? Did your doctor recommend all this?

    My doctor says I'm as fit as a fiddle. My daughter reads articles written by experts.

    Skoro tak, to wi臋kszo艣膰 z tego jest raczej zb臋dna, a nadmiar 偶elaza wr臋cz szkodzi.

    In that case, most of this probably isn't needed, and too much iron can actually do you harm.

    Wiem, ale jak wr贸c臋 z pustymi r臋kami, c贸rka przyjedzie tu sama.

    I know, but if I go home empty-handed, my daughter will come here herself.

    Then how about we keep just the vitamin D, for the winter, and cross off the rest?
