Day 134: Depends Where You Sit
In a taxi in 艢winouj艣cie, a passenger on his way to work at the port (A) gets talking to the driver (B) after they nearly hit a young man on an e-scooter.
How to study this lesson 3 steps
- Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.
- Read the dialogue line by line with its translation, until every line makes sense. Point at (or tap) a Polish word to see what it means.

That's easy for you to say from behind the wheel. For a lot of my mates at the port, a scooter is the only way to get to the night shift.

All right, I'll confess. After the night shift I hand the car over to my relief driver and ride home on a rental scooter myself, only on the cycle path.
