Day 32: Certified Translation from Teen
In a trainer shop in a Białystok shopping centre, Dorota (A), a sworn translator, asks the young shop assistant, Nikola (B), for help with her son's birthday wish list.
How to study this lesson 3 steps
- Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.
- Read the dialogue line by line with its translation, until every line makes sense. Point at (or tap) a Polish word to see what it means.
- Spend at least 30 minutes listening to native Polish, for example from the Resources page. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it yet.

Piętnaście. Cytuję: „Buty z dripem, zero cringe'u, max aura, sigma, nie NPC”.
Fifteen. I quote: 'Shoes with drip, zero cringe, max aura, sigma, not NPC.'

Czyli stylowe, ale nie obciachowe. Ma mieć aurę samotnego wilka, a nie statysty z gry komputerowej.
So stylish, but not embarrassing. He wants the aura of a lone wolf, not of a background extra in a video game.
