Day 44: The Fox Becomes a Hare
In a car outside a hotel in Kielce, Filip (A) and Maciek (B), close friends who run a small board-game company together, go over their meeting with Mr and Mrs Zając, a married couple keen to invest in it.
How to study this lesson 3 steps
- Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.
- Read the dialogue line by line with its translation, until every line makes sense. Point at (or tap) a Polish word to see what it means.
- Spend at least 30 minutes listening to native Polish, for example from the Resources page. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it yet.

Point seven: we replace the fox on the box with a hare, and then change the title to "Sly Hare".

Wobec tego zając będzie kury ratował. Za dwieście tysięcy mogę przepisać nawet zasady.
Then the hare will rescue the hens. For two hundred thousand I can even rewrite the rules.

Obaj wiemy, że na testach dzieci i tak kibicowały kurom. Dzwoń do nich, zanim się rozmyślą.
We both know the kids at the playtests were rooting for the hens anyway. Call them before they change their minds.
