Day 81: Pepper Is Under P Now
In their flat in Ko艂obrzeg, Zbyszek (A), who retired a month ago, shows his wife Wiesia (B) what he has done to her kitchen.
How to study this lesson 3 steps
- Read the situation under the title. It says who is talking and how they know each other, which decides how politely they speak.
- Read the dialogue line by line with its translation, until every line makes sense. Point at (or tap) a Polish word to see what it means.

I read about this in the paper: retired husband syndrome. A Japanese doctor described it back in the nineties.

I didn't make it up. Apparently retired men's wives suffer from high blood pressure and other ailments because of it.
